From Delta State University Athletics
Dear Statesmen Patrons,
As the landscape of college athletics continually changes, so do the needs and challenges of a university athletics program. We invite you to join The Statesmen Club to assist us in meeting those needs and to maximize support of our student athletes, coaches, and staff. It is our desire to serve and promote the experiences of our teams as they compete and proudly represent our university, local community, and state.
As you support our programs, we commit to providing our fan base with competition on the national level and a positive “Game Day” experience. The Statesmen Club is just one opportunity you have to help ensure our continued success. The various membership levels, benefit packages, and ticket options have been designed to provide choices that are right for you.
If you are a renewing member, we thank you for your consistent support and encourage consideration of the next highest tier of membership. We also welcome new memberships and value your addition to our team!
Our success is dependent on the financial support we receive beyond our institutional allocations to allow reaching higher levels of achievement and championships. Our future will be determined by the loyalty of the Statesmen Nation and your support of Statesmen Athletics. Thank you for joining with us!
Always A Statesman,
Mike Kinnison
Director of Athletics
The Statesmen Club is an integral factor in providing for the excellence of the program. Through donations of DSU supporters, The Statesmen Club is able to provide financial support for student-athletes participating in 13 varsity sports, as well as cheerleading.
Statesmen and Lady Statesmen supporters throughout the United States and the world show their pride in DSU athletics by being a part of The Statesmen Club. We welcome all DSU alumni and friends.
With seven distinct giving levels, The Statesmen Club offers an opportunity to make an immediate and real impact on our nearly 400 student-athletes, coaches and staff. Every dollar raised by The Statesmen Club directly effects our coaches, student-athletes and staff, as we strive to build champions of character on and off the field.

Membership in the Legends Society is reserved for donors who have accumulated $25,000 or more in giving to athletics funding campaigns. With a sustained annual Statesmen Club Membership of $500 or more, members will be invited to participate in public acknowledgment ceremony at home events.
Delta State Athletics prides itself as a self-sustaining athletic department, affording nearly 400 student-athletes in 13 intercollegiate varsity sports the opportunity to be champions in the classroom, in competition, and in the community. In addition to supporting the 14 sport programs, there are other areas that provide assistance to our student-athletes and their quest for excellence. Examples such as strength & conditioning, sports medicine, sports nutrition, mentoring and leadership development to name a few.
The mission of The Statesmen Club is to aid the Athletics Department in the form of student-athlete scholarships, funding for facility improvements, supplement funding to individual sports, and in many other ways necessary to have an outstanding athletics program.
Why I Give: ARANT FAMILY MEETING ROOM
“Rebekah and I are extremely proud of our football program and what it stands for,” Miller Arant said. “We hope that our gift will not only help our student-athletes, but will help carry Delta State football forward as coach Todd Cooley continues to build the premier program in NCAA Division II football.”

Why I Give: NED AND BETTYE MITCHELL SCHOLARSHIP
"Delta State University made such an impact on my life that I want to help ensure that future generations of Statesmen and Lady Statesmen have the same opportunities as student-athletes," said Ned Mitchell. "Being a member of the Delta State family means more than just graduating or representing a team. It means supporting the programs with your time, talents, and treasure.”
NED MITCHELL
Why I Give: TIM & NANCY HARVEY STADIUM
“On top of the great lessons and experiences gained from playing baseball for Coach Ferriss, my Delta State University education allowed me to successfully compete against global business executives from Harvard, Stanford, and many other leading universities in my 38-year business career," said Tim Harvey. "I owe a great deal to DSU and it’s people that prepared me for my professional life. Therefore, it is important for me to give back to the university that did so much for me.”
