Greetings

From Delta State University Athletics

As the 2020-2021 season for DSU Athletics approaches, I want to encourage our fellow Statesmen Athletics supporters to partner with our athletic administration, coaches and student-athletes in pursuit of our highest levels of achievement. As we navigate the waters of what lies ahead in each respective season, we need your participation and encouragement more than any previous time in our athletic program’s history. In a time of financial uncertainty, we continue our commitment to field you athletic teams you can identify with and be proud of.

We continue to review each aspect of the Statesmen Club program to provide our fan base options to join at the level that best suits your means. The various membership levels and the corresponding benefit packages allow everyone to find their best option to “get in the lineup” and be a member of our support team. In addition to encouraging new members to join, I want to challenge renewals to increase your commitment to Delta State Athletics. Thoughtfully consider increasing your membership level to the next tier up or a 10% increase to your previous year’s contribution. Just as our athletic teams cannot continue to be satisfied with last season’s results, neither can our support system. Success is dependent upon the financial loyalty we receive beyond our institutional budgets to allow us to “do the extras” that otherwise would not be possible. When you join with us, all our athletic teams benefit.

In return for your support and membership in the Statesmen Club, we pledge our best effort to give our fan base a great game day experience. We want your family to enjoy Delta State Athletics and have convenience in areas of parking, seating, Delta State apparel, concessions and youth activities. Our competitive spirit will be strong on the courts and fields, and your participation in the Delta State Athletics Statesmen Club will allow us to continue to be “Where Champions Play.”

Always a Statesman,
